Letra LET’S GET TO THAT SCRIPTURE - Bryson Gray
I don't care about what your preacher say
Don't babble like the pagans when you pray
The word don't change because your brother gay
I just see these demons and I slay
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Don't be spoiled with vain philosophy
Let's get to that scripture
I don't care 'bout your theology
Let's get to that scripture
Kingdom or the lake of fire, tell me where you headed
They always saying love thy neighbor but they never read it
Leviticus 19 verse 18, okay let's dissect it
Verse 17, that's the context, I know they gon' reject it, ooh
But I can feel the spirit moving
If you don't rebuke your neighbor in sin, homie what you doing?
And be gentle though so you don't fall in sin while you rebuking
They take scripture out of context all the time, they pick and choosing ooh
Aye let's go to Matthew 7:23
Who did Jesus say he never knew, well let's look and see
Many will say "Lord, Lord," now but that don't mean you free
If you lawless then Yeshua gon' tell you "depart from me"
I don't care about what your preacher say
Don't babble like the pagans when you pray
The word don't change because your brother gay
I just see these demons and I slay
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Don't be spoiled with vain philosophy
Let's get to that scripture
I don't care 'bout your theology
Let's get to that scripture
Wait a minute, this gon' have them boys in awe
Because if someone is lawless then there has to be a law
Better go read the sermon on the mount, go read it all
When you get to Matthew 5:19 then it's problem solved
Those that forsake the law, they gon' praise the wicked
But those that keep the law, they gon' strive against it
That's Proverbs 28:4, please don't get it twisted
If you go to verse 9 it get's real so let's get it
And they say Christians sin everyday, that's not in the word
I want chapter, verse, and context, don't care what you heard
How you sin daily but not a worker of iniquity?
Hebrews 10:26 say if you sin willfully
Read Psalm 5:5, those the people God hates
And you want to be called least in heaven, I'll be called great
And I know that cowards gon' be first going to the lake
These other rappers give you the milk, I'm tryna give you steak
I don't care about what your preacher say
Don't babble like the pagans when you pray
The word don't change because your brother gay
I just see these demons and I slay
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Let's get to that scripture, let's get to that scripture
Don't be spoiled with vain philosophy
Let's get to that scripture
