CD-R - Toro y Moi

I remember burning CD-Rs
Outside every single dive bar
Every windshield in the parking lot
Kinkos boxes filling up the trunk
We broke down on the 15-501
Triple A had to come and pull us up out the mud
Overwhelmed, all the merch was still in the trunk
We were wondering if the tour was still fucked

Blackberry days, I would talk to anyone
I was always late, I could never respond
Started getting paid, now they asking me for refunds
Learning how to wait 'til it all makes cents

Halos surround the Moon
The Sun revolves around it, the time
Halos surround the Moon
The Sun revolves around it, the time

I remember out in Denver
Had to throw spikes onto the Sprinter
Snow was blowin' so much, it made me hate the winter (Brr)
Why they book us with no driving days? We beginners
Everyday's a different interstate, tell me what's today?
It's transcendental

Blackberry days, I would talk to anyone
I was always late, I could never respond
Started getting paid now they asking me for refunds
Learning how to wait 'til it all makes cents

Halos surround the Moon
The Sun revolves around it, the time
Halos surround the Moon
The Sun revolves around it, the time

I was giving out my CDs after class
Memorex memories is all we had
We grew up on the same street
Bus stop, it was freezing
We grew up on the same street
Now we're so far from the nosebleeds

We still in the Wild West (Wild West)
I don't know what to tell ya (I dunno)
We building up a fortress (outta gold)
We'll braid it outta sweetgrass
Draggin' trees up a hill
Throw it in the shell mound
We can do a ghost dance
We can do a last stand
